In a June 2026 page-by-page review of 30 Perth specialist orthodontic practices, 4 (13.3%) published a comprehensive treatment price on their own website. Two-thirds published no treatment price at all, quoting only after a consultation.

Method: a page-by-page review of every Perth specialist orthodontic practice’s own website in June 2026, recording whether a comprehensive treatment price was published. Figures describe specialist orthodontic practices only; general dentists who provide braces are counted separately. Where two brands were run by the same principal orthodontist, they were counted once.

How Perth compares

Perth’s 13.3% is the second highest of the five capital cities reviewed, behind Melbourne (14.8%, 9 of 61) and just ahead of Brisbane (12.9%, 4 of 31). In Sydney, just 2.5% of specialist practices (2 of 81) published a comprehensive price, and in Adelaide 3.7% (1 of 27) did. Across the five cities the share ranged from 2.5% to 14.8%. This survey reports each metropolitan area separately rather than as a single national figure.
