Part of the Australian Orthodontic Pricing Transparency Survey. In a June 2026 page-by-page review of 27 Adelaide specialist orthodontic practices, just 1 (3.7%) published a comprehensive treatment price on its own website. Almost nine in ten published no treatment price at all, quoting only after a consultation.
Compiled by Cumberland Dental, Cumberland Park, Adelaide. Figures last verified June 2026.

Method: a page-by-page review of every Adelaide specialist orthodontic practice’s own website in June 2026, recording whether a comprehensive treatment price was published. Figures describe specialist orthodontic practices only; general dentists who provide braces are counted separately.
Adelaide’s 3.7% is the second lowest of the five capital cities reviewed. Only Sydney publishes a comprehensive price less often, at 2.5% (2 of 81), while Brisbane (12.9%, 4 of 31), Perth (13.3%, 4 of 30) and Melbourne (14.8%, 9 of 61) publish one several times more often. Across the five cities the share ranged from 2.5% to 14.8%. This survey reports each metropolitan area separately rather than as a single national figure.
This page is part of a public-interest survey of how orthodontic pricing is presented online across Australian capital cities. Each practice was classified after opening its own live fee or cost page in June 2026, not from a search-result snippet. The survey describes how practices publish information and does not rank or evaluate the practices themselves. See the full survey method and results.
