About Dr. Jack Gaffey
Dr Gaffey started his orthodontic journey with Six Month Smiles at conference in Dallas Texas in 2011. He then helped sow the seeds for an advanced course in Boston Massachussetts in 2013.
Dr Gaffey has since completed Invisalign® training, POSOrtho, Advanced POS ortho Courses and multiple course with Australia’s leading orthodontic instructor, Dr Geoff Hall.
Dr Gaffey is also a former Australian Dental Association (SA) President, a City of Unley Councillor, and Triathlon SA Board member.
In his spare time he is an international triathlete including competing at the 2022 70.3 Ironman World Championships.

They focus on improving the cosmetic appearance of adult smiles without addressing bite discrepancies. While some complex cases may require more extensive treatment, Dr. Gaffey can evaluate your specific needs to determine the appropriate treatment duration.
How do 6 Month Braces compare to clear plastic trays advertised on TV?
Unlike the clear plastic trays that use a series of aligners, 6 Month Braces utilise nearly invisible brackets and wires, offering Dr. Gaffey with greater control over the treatment and typically delivering faster results. Six Month Braces are always active, without the need for patient intervention, unlike clear aligners that must be removed for eating and require diligent use.
How will I look with these braces?
